As the Principal of A Byrd’s Eye, an Imaging and Branding group, she takes her love for consulting to transform her clients into visual masterpieces, preparing them for defining moments – like a red carpet appearance or for endorsements that will be seen by millions. Several clients and collaborating partners, give special mention to her keen attention to details and her strategic project management skills.
Celebrities like Terri J. Vaughn (Meet the Browns, Daddy’s Little Girls, The Steve Harvey Show), Denise Boutte (Meet the Browns, Why Did I Get Married) and New York Jets, Stephen Hill (NFL)have all taken notice of her talent and call upon her for many occasions. Most recently, Byrd led as a Costume Designer in the featured film, Grantham & Rose which stars Marla Gibbs, Jake Austin and Tessa Thompson. Byrd brings a point of view that embodies her unique sense of style and love for vintage apparel. She combines fashions from decades past with cutting edge designs of today to create an extraordinary looks.

When you look good, you feel good and it can translate into other areas of your life,” said Byrd. “I’m not just in the image business; I’m in the business of making people feel good.” She strongly believes that good health is the foundation for any image, and encourages her clients to take care of themselves physically and spiritually.
Recently, Byrd was invited to join a select group of stylist by Salvatore Ferragamo, as a Style Contributor. She is a 15-year expert in marketing, client relations and consulting with a focus in brand development. With her success in personal branding and style consulting, A Byrd’s Eye has expanded into integrated marketing. Carla Byrd is honored to work with the Faculty & Board of Advisors for the International Fashion Style Academy (IFSA).
